For the past 15 year I have taught art workshops to people of various ages ranging from small children right up to seniors as well as working with autistic and special needs students. Their abilities and cultural backgrounds have been varied, and I am inspired working with them one on one, or in groups. Workshops were held in various schools, libraries, institutions, as well as being tailored specifically for various private
functions. Projects have included murals, paper maché, drawing, painting,
clay sculpture, and many other forms of art creation. My objective is to
empower students to discover their own artistic abilities and make them
appreciate their own unique talents in a fun, creative and relaxing

Since 2011 I have organized and taught a two hour "Kids After School Art Workshop" at Havelock Public School. Students ranged from 6 to 12 years of age. Workshops included Painting, Mask Making, Drum making, Clay Sculpture, Stenciling/Painting on T-Shirts and more. These classes start with a brief history of the subject, demonstrations and then student participation. Everyone learned a lot and had fun working together creating wonderful pieces of art. |
